Waltham Fire Station

2021 Firehouse Magazine Gold Award Winner!

 

Saccoccio & Associates was selected by the City of Waltham, MA to design and build a new fire station located next door to the old station located on 533 Moody Street. The existing fire station, which is a historic building, will remain and function as a training site, as well as, vehicle and equipment.

The site for the new fire station is the Young Building and the land surrounding it to the border of the existing Moody Street Fire Station.

Some of the design features include: wider bays, a dispatch area, a community room, meeting room, a decontamination room, an exercise room, sleeping quarters for the firefighters
