After a devastating fire that destroyed one third of North Providence High School, the Town retained Saccoccio & Associates to design renovations and a large building wing to accommodate its student population of 1,400. The larger design challenge was to unify the building complex and to create a fresh image for this large school facility. The new addition provided a new main entrance, media center, cafeteria, gymnasium, administration offices, and several classrooms, while the existing structure was entirely renovated and updated to meet current academic accreditation standards.
